Full Diagnostics Sheffield Need more than a basic fault code scan? Our Full Diagnostics Sheffield service provides up to one hour of diagnostic investigation when you bring your vehicle to us. £100 at our Sheffield location. Mobile call-out is not included. Designed for warning lights, recurring faults, electrical problems, poor running and issues needing more investigation than our Standard Diagnostic service. Using professional diagnostic equipment, we scan accessible control modules, interpret fault codes and carry out relevant testing to help identify the cause. What’s Included: • Full scan of accessible control modules • Engine, transmission, ABS, SRS and body system diagnostics • Current, stored and pending fault codes • Fault codes cleared where appropriate • Professional interpretation of results • Live data analysis where relevant • Sensor value assessment • Actuator and component activation tests • Basic electrical and multimeter testing where appropriate • Visual checks linked to the fault • Battery and charging information where relevant • Road test where required and safe • Clear explanation of findings • Recommended next steps • Digital PDF diagnostic report A fault code does not always mean the named component has failed. Wiring, electrical supply issues, air leaks or incorrect sensor data can also cause faults. Ideal For: • Engine, ABS, SRS or transmission warning lights • Electrical or sensor faults • Multiple or intermittent warning lights • Poor running, limp mode or starting problems • Recurring faults • Vehicles where previous repairs have not resolved the issue Optional Visual Health Check: A Visual Vehicle Health Check can be added and may include fluid levels, coolant strength, battery health, auxiliary belt, tyre tread and pressures, brakes, suspension, steering, wipers and washers. What’s Not Included: Mechanical strip down, component removal, repairs, parts replacement, battery replacement, coding or programming, extensive wiring investigation or testing requiring significant dismantling. Additional work will be discussed and quoted separately. Intermittent faults may not be present during testing and some systems may require manufacturer-specific access. Cancellation Policy
By booking a service with Clear Code Diagnostics, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Services We provide mobile vehicle diagnostics, inspections, battery testing/replacement (where applicable), coolant pressure testing, and vehicle health checks. All services are diagnostic and advisory only. We do not carry out MOTs, full servicing, or major mechanical repairs. Any third-party referrals are recommendations only, and we are not responsible for their work, costs, or warranties. Call-Out Fee & Payments The minimum call-out fee is the cost of the service booked and is non-refundable. This covers travel, time, equipment, and expertise and applies even if no fault is found, faults are intermittent, systems are dealer-locked, or diagnostics cannot be completed due to vehicle condition. Payment is due on completion. Deposits for parts are non-refundable once ordered. Mileage charges apply beyond 8 miles at £1.20 per mile (maximum radius 40 miles). Diagnostic Limitations Diagnostics depend on vehicle design, software access, and condition. Some systems may be inaccessible without dealer-level software, which may only be identified once equipment is connected. No guarantee is given that a fault code or definitive diagnosis will be found. The service is considered delivered regardless of outcome. Vehicle Condition We are not responsible for incomplete diagnostics caused by low battery voltage, immobilisers, aftermarket modifications, wiring faults, corrosion, water ingress, or previous repairs. Additional work or rebooking may be required at extra cost. Cancellations, Safety & Liability Cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, or lack of access may be charged in full. Customers must provide a safe working area. Vehicles must be on level ground for accurate fluid readings; we may refuse to report fluid levels if conditions are unsuitable. We are not liable for future faults, breakdowns, losses, or decisions made based on our findings. Liability is limited to the value of the service provided. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
