Coolant System Pressure Test
Find coolant leaks before they become big problems.
Service Description
Overheating can lead to expensive engine damage. A Coolant Pressure Test helps catch leaks or weak spots early. I’ll use a professional cooling-system pressure tester to pressurise the system to its normal operating level and check for leaks at hoses, joints, radiator, heater core, and water pump. I’ll explain the findings in plain terms and advise on the next steps if repairs are needed. No unnecessary upsells; just facts and guidance. What’s Included - Visual inspection of coolant reservoir, hoses, radiator, water pump - Pressure test of cooling system - Check for external leaks or pressure loss - Plain-English explanation of results - Simple report/recommendations What’s NOT Included - No fluid top-ups or replacement coolant - No mechanical repairs or parts fitting - No full health check unless booked separately - No disposal of coolant
Cancellation Policy
At Clear Code Diagnostics, I believe in keeping things clear, fair, and simple. Whether it’s a quick fault scan, a full health check, or a pre-purchase inspection, I aim to make every visit professional and transparent. By booking a service, you agree to the following terms. 1. Booking & Confirmation Bookings can be made via the website, social media, or by phone/message. Bookings are confirmed only once I’ve checked availability and sent confirmation. Some jobs may require a deposit, especially if parts or long-distance travel are involved. Customers must provide accurate details (address, reg, make, model, and access). 2. Service Area & Mileage Clear Code Diagnostics operates within a 40-mile radius of Sheffield. The first 8 miles are included free of charge. Beyond that, mileage is charged at £1.20 per mile (round trip). Bookings outside the 40-mile area may be declined or quoted separately. 3. Customer Responsibility Please make sure your vehicle is parked on safe, level ground. If it’s on a slope or unsafe surface, I may refuse to carry out certain checks, as readings (like oil or coolant) may be inaccurate. The customer is responsible for ensuring access to the vehicle at the booked time. For membership plans, customers must book their own monthly checks — missed or unused visits can’t be carried forward or refunded. 4. Payment & Deposits Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise. I accept card, cash, or bank transfer. Deposits for special orders or parts are non-refundable once placed. Reports and test results are issued after payment is received. 5. Cancellations & Refunds Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. Cancellations made earlier qualify for a refund minus a 10% admin fee. If work can’t be completed due to unsafe conditions, poor access, or incorrect details, the callout fee will still apply. 6. Reports & Results All reports reflect the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection. Diagnostics are based on real-time data and visual checks. I’ll explain everything clearly so you understand what’s urgent, what’s advisory, and what can wait — no jargon or guesswork. 7. Third-Party Referrals If I recommend another garage or service, it’s for your convenience only. I can’t guarantee their pricing, timescales, or results. Always confirm directly with them before approving work. 8. Rebookings & Delays If delays, weather, or emergencies occur, I’ll contact you to reschedule as soon as possible.
